Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Front Runner ladder for your Toyota 4Runner. Now, this ladder is going to make it easier to access the roof of your 2010 and newer Toyota 4Runner. And this ladder is going to make it easier to load and secure your gear on your platform rack or on your crossbars on the roof of your 4Runner. And I'm just kind of gonna give you an overview here just so you can get an idea of what this looks like. I do have this loosely assembled, just to give you an idea.

I think it's gonna be better if I show you a photo. On your screen there, you see what this ladder is going to look like when this is installed on the back of your 4Runner. And it's designed to conform to the contours of your 4Runner. So it's not only gonna be a practical addition to your SUV, but it's also going to look great on the back of your 4Runner. Now, this is going to install using the included hardware.

I do wanna mention that some drilling is going to be required to install this. Most of the hardware, I do have in use, as I have loosely assembled this ladder for you, just so you have an idea of what this is going to look like. I do have some leftover hardware here on my platform with the rubber strip, but most of the hardware is in use holding this together, as I've assembled it. And this is going to clamp on the top of the door of your 4Runner, and then it's going to secure under your tailgate and this rubber trim here and the adhesive tape. Let me give you a closer view of that.

The adhesive tape underneath the top clamp here are all gonna work together to protect the paint of your 4Runner. So this is underneath the top clamp. And then let me show you the bottom here. So this is going to be a a relatively easy installation. Let me give you a view of a rungs here as well.

These are designed to give you a secure grip as you're making your way on top of the. as you're making your way up the ladder. Then, at the top here, we do have these rubber strips here. So this ladder is constructed of durable black powder coat steel and aluminum. So not only is it going to be very strong and durable for you, but it's going to resist rust and corrosion. It's going to do a great job of standing up against the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. And this does have a weight capacity of 260 pounds. Now, just some overall dimensions. It's gonna be kind of tricky to hold a tape measure up to this on camera, so I went ahead and took some measurements earlier before our time together. The overall height of this ladder is about 44 inches tall, and then the overall width from end to end, we're sitting at about 7 7/8 inches wide. And the standoff from the surface is about four inches. And altogether, this weighs about 11 pounds, so it's relatively lightweight. It's not gonna add a whole lot of weight to the back of your 4Runner. But still, it's very durable and it's gonna be very strong. Again, has that weight capacity of 260 pounds.
